About a month ago, I saw Vee's post on Tumblr about making custom skirts, so you know I jumped at the chance to have a couple of them made for me. ;) I wound up choosing a pink stripe fabric and this purple floral fabric. The floral reminds me of Hawaiian prints, only I think it's a lot more wearable of a print than the bright tropical ones. Vee was wonderful to work with, and made and shipped my skirts super quickly. Plus, they're great quality and super comfy, and I love that they're perfectly tailored for my shape. Thank you so much, Vee! Or as they say on the islands, mahalo! :D

PS: If you're into sewing, make sure you check out Vee's other Tumblr, Fatty Sewing Club. It's awesome to see so many babes making their own clothes! And it makes me think I need to start sewing again, too. :)

Super cute skirt. I really want to learn how to sew...I actually apprenticed for a seamstress in my teens...and learned nothing (not for lack of her trying)! Youth is wasted on the young!
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt. Looks kinda classy but with a twist! I wish I knew how to sew but...

Thank you Katrina! I love it too! I can sew super easy stuff, like the skirt above, but rarely have the time or patience for it. LOL My mom knows how to sew, so I have her for any questions or problems I have. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I know what you mean! I could barely make this myself (if I tried!). :D
