Hi there! It's Wednesday, and it's time for the Fatshion Faceoff! (If you're new to the blog, just click here to find out what the Fatshion Faceoff is all about!) This week's challenge item was chosen by Hanna and she picked... a knitted jumper (or sweater for you American folk)! Perfect timing, too. Remember the last post where I was, er, kinda complaining about it being warm in January? WELL GUESS WHAT? No sooner had I typed the words than snow was in the forecast. Below is what I wore yesterday, and it's a good thing I took pictures in the morning to take full advantage of the (meager yet adorable) snowfall. By the time my afternoon class was done, so was the snow.
And if you're wondering why I didn't get any pictures of my cozy v-neck, short-sleeved, navy/gray sweater sans coat, it's because I dropped my camera before I got the chance. Now my sweet old granny Canon Powershot won't focus properly, and that's not cool, especially since I wasn't planning on buying a new camera any time soon. I've already had to send it away once before to be fixed, and it's probably not worth sending away again (that shiz is expensive!). So now I can't decide if I'm going to borrow the boyfriend's point-and-shoot for the time being or if it's a sign that I need to break down and invest in a my own newborn of a DSLR. What do you think?
But before we get all cameratalk-happy, we should probably pop over to the other girls' blogs and see what jumpers they're all rocking today! I'm especially curious to see what Olivia's wearing, as it's summertime in Australia and not exactly knitwear season. ;)

I still like the sweatery quality of that scarf. It probably makes a fantastic pillow. But I'm also in love with your bag. I mean, really.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a bit jealous of your snowfall. I slept through basically the only one my town's had all winter. Haha.
Hey! The texture on your scarf is great and such a bold color. I don't know much about knitting but I don't think I've seen that stitch before. Very cool...
